The Alberta Junior Forest Warden Association, led by the Provincial Board of Directors, and in consultation with its membership, carries the duty of administration, management, promotion, fund development and direction of the Junior Forest Warden program in Alberta.

Through a network of clubs, District and Regional councils under the AJFWA, the Junior Forest Warden family maintains communication and provides diverse education, exciting experiences and inspiration to all of its members.

Currently, Alberta supports approximately 50 clubs, hosting 1000 wardens and 700 adult volunteers and parents.

The AJFWA continues to enjoy their long-term relationship with the Alberta Government, Department of Sustainable Resource Development, Public Information, Education and Outreach.
